C2C Power Solutions Breaks Ground on its new Decatur, Texas Facility
DECATUR, Texas – C2C Power Solutions, the leading authorized distributor of Crestchic® load banks and premier dealer of Vantran® transformers, officially celebrated its expansion to Texas this morning with a groundbreaking ceremony at the Eagles Landing Business Park in Decatur, Texas.
The City of Decatur and the Decatur Economic Development Corporation (DEDC) are excited to welcome C2C Power Solutions as its latest industrial park resident. The Board of Directors of the EDC and the Decatur City Council are intentional about the companies they bring to the city. Mayor Eddie Allen said during the ceremony, “C2C chose Decatur, and really, we chose C2C. We know growth is coming to Decatur, and it’s all about how we grow. C2C is the type of business partner we want here in Decatur.”
C2C Power Solutions, based in San Diego, California, sought a central location to serve their growing customer base across the United States. “Our new location in Decatur will allow us to better serve middle America, the East Coast, and Canada,” stated Brian Verhoeven, C2C’s Executive Vice President/CFO during today’s ceremony. He went on to say how much they appreciate the ease of working with the City of Decatur, and the EDC’s proactive and responsive approach to doing business.
C2C has purchased five (5) acres in the Eagles Landing Business Park, owned by the DEDC. They will build a 24,000 square foot facility initially, with plans to grow. The company offers generator testing, transformer sales, and parts & service of critical equipment. They employ a team of field technicians who travel to customer sites for preventative maintenance; complex diagnostics; or repairs. C2C will be hiring new employees - no relocations - once their Decatur location opens.
